Thank you for your patience! Below is the wand I made for the child of a friend (not available for sale, just as an example of what I can make). You can have any runic inscription you like and choose among a variety of woods (whatever is available locally).
This particular wand is a holly wand containing a live tree spirit, as do all my wands. It has been engraved with an authentic ancient runic protection spell that translates to: "may the magic songs of the Norns protect you." The spell wraps around the wand in a spiral pattern and is interspersed with four-leaved clover and little butterflies (after all its a wand for a child). It's powerful though, I gave it a few swishes and could feel the power flowing myself.
Note, the pictures aren't very clear, due to having had to use a friend's camera which brought poor results.
It is a very powerful little wand for a powerful young witch!
